Wills & Trusts
We create and review Last Wills, from the most basic to complex Wills containing trusts for your beneficiaries who are not readily equipped to handle the responsibility for the gifts that are made for them. Also, in appropriate circumstances, stand alone trusts that are not associated with one’s Last Will can be crafted to protect the interests and property of beneficiaries. Also, Alabama’s laws permits persons contemplating marriage to make contracts respecting the manner in which their estates will be divided and administered. The importance of such contracts, frequently referred to as prenuptial (or ante nuptial) agreements should not be overlooked, especially when persons with children from an earlier marriage are contemplating a second marriage.
